July 2020 Lesson Updates
Dear Students and Guardians,
Greetings from The Vocal Studio Team.
We are happy that we have finally moved to Phase 2, and are hopeful that with our collective effort, we can achieve a safe re-opening of our country soon.
A moment of disappointment was there when we received the news that Vocal Training will not be resuming till further notice. We do hope that we will see each other again soon at the studio, and we are very much looking forward to the day of announcing the resumption of in-studio lessons, so let us all stay strong, and be patient in the meantime
We appreciate all the support you have been providing The Vocal Studio Singapore and our coaches. It would not have been possible for us to offer online lessons and create new experiences including our virtual performance day without your trust and support.
We do ask for you to keep supporting us as we go through a few more weeks or even 1 to 2 more months of waiting. It will truly be a huge support for us to carry on with our vocal coaching professions with joy and passion.
Here are some ways that you can give us your support!
1) Online lessons: We will be continuing with all the current lessons online, and resuming any of the lessons that were put on hold.
Kindly do respond to any Email or WhatsApp text that has been sent to you with regards to the confirmation of your lessons.
As long as you have WI-FI, a safe environment to sing, and the devices to connect to your lesson, you can connect with your coaches and have enjoyable and quality vocal lessons.
Online Lessons - What to Prepare?
2) July Lesson Schedules: We have already contacted students to
re-arrange the upcoming lessons that were put on hold.
Please reach out us to indicate whether you’d like to opt for the same timing for your online lessons.
For the existing online students, we will proceed on with the re-arranged lesson schedule with your coach from the 1st week of July. If you wish to maintain your current lesson schedule, please discuss further with your coach during lessons to check the availability first.
3) Share your vocal lesson experience with your coaches:
Seeing your feedback and compliments highly encourages us and keeps us going so, kindly do make an effort to let us know what you think of the lessons so far.
Feel free to share any suggestions you might have for better improvement of the lessons as well! This can help us better prepare during this time, and reach out to various communities in the future of the school.

4) Keep singing, and share the value & joys of music and singing!
How wonderful life is, when we have a voice to sing so, please encourage yourself, and also the people around you through music
and singing during this time.
5) Do you need support? Reach out to us. We are here for you.
We understand that everyone has been going through a lot during this pandemic, and some of us could have been more affected than others by the series of events and changes happening all over the world.
We would love to help you, as voice trainers, to connect with you and to help you share and regain your strength through singing.

In the last two months, we have tried our best to provide flexibility and efficiency with regards to the amendments of student's lesson schedules.

We will be sending SMS reminders as well as Email reminders to each student, a day before their lesson however, no extra contact will be made in the case of a missed lesson.
Lessons with late-cancellation within 24 hours of the lesson or "no-show" (upon 20 minutes of waiting time), will be forfeited.
