What is Jazz?

“Jazz is a very important genre and one of the oldest genes of Popular Music that derived from The Blues.”

Why is Jazz so important, you ask?

Jazz Music has very vast genres of music involved as well as, is hard to pin down or perform, which is why we are exploring it. 

It is an advanced genre of music that deserves to be studied because it can develop your creativity and deepen your sense and view point of music across all genres.

The first sounds and compositions of Jazz Music happened in New Orleans around the 1920’s.

This genre of music is a combination of European Music and Afro American rhythms, syncopation, vocals and instrumental solos or improvisations. 

As said by many, Jazz is your friend!
