Please note that all lesson cancellations or reschedules should be managed directly by students via Classcard.

All cancellations must be made online via the Classcard student portal at least 12 hours prior to the confirmed lesson time.

While the 12-hour limit allows for flexibility with unexpected schedule changes, we kindly request you notify us as soon as possible to ensure smooth lesson rearrangements.

Cancellations made within 12 hours of the lesson time will not be eligible for a make-up lesson or refund.

The only exception to last-minute cancellation forfeiture is when an MC is provided within 2 days of the canceled lesson.

While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, we kindly seek your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.

If a student does not attend a lesson without prior notice, the lesson will be marked as completed and will not be eligible for a make-up session or refund.

(Drop-in / Ad-hoc / Trial Lessons)
Single Lessons (Ad-hoc /Trial)

Lessons can be booked online up to one month in advance.

Payment must be completed to confirm the slot.

If you wish to reserve a slot for a date beyond one month, please contact us via WhatsApp for assistance.

You are entitled to one make-up lesson for a cancellation made at least 12 hours before the original lesson time.

The make-up lesson must be scheduled within one month of the original lesson date.

Switching to a coach within the same tier or a lower tier is allowed.

Switching to a higher-tier coach will incur an additional cost.

No refunds are available once payment has been made.

If you cannot attend the booked lesson, you may transfer the lesson to another student.

The transferred attendee must complete the lesson under the original booking conditions.

  • Minimum Lessons: 4 per month
  • Validity: 1 month from the first lesson of the package (e.g. 4 Feb – 3 Mar)
  • Renewal: Auto-renewal at the end of each package
  • Payment: Payment required up to 48 hours before the start of the new package
  • Reschedule Limit:
    • Up to 2 reschedules per package within the validity period
    • A 1-week grace period is allowed for make-up lessons only if the student or coach falls sick on the last lesson, provided an official MC is submitted
    • Reschedules beyond the package validity or exceeding the limit require a $30 top-up (valid for up to 14 days)
  • Change Between Packages: Available only after the current package is completed (to ad-hoc or Value Package)
  • Pause / Termination: Notify the coach or admin before package renewal. For pauses longer than 2 weeks, payment is required to reserve the following month’s slot
  • Refund Policy: No refund once the package has started
  • Minimum Lessons: 13 lessons over 3 months
  • Validity: 3 months from the first lesson of the package
  • Renewal: Upon confirmation after completing the package
  • Payment: One-time payment required up to 48 hours before the start of the package
  • Reschedule Limit:
    • Up to 6 reschedules within the package validity period
    • A 1-week grace period is allowed for make-up lessons only if the student or coach falls sick on the last lesson, provided an official MC is submitted
    • Reschedules beyond the package validity or exceeding the limit require a $30 top-up (valid for up to 14 days)
  • Benefits:
    • Free studio rental for personal practice: 2 sessions per month (small room only)
    • Option to use 1 lesson as a guided vocal recording experience
    • 1 participation ticket for TVS Performance Days (audience or performer)
  • Pause / Termination: Notify the coach or admin before package renewal
  • Refund Policy: No refund once the package has started
  • Planning Ahead: If you anticipate being unable to attend lessons for more than two consecutive weeks, please inform the coach or admin in advance.
  • Package Suitability: If you are unable to attend at least four lessons within a monthly package period, we recommend booking ad-hoc (single) lessons instead.
  • Reserving Lesson Slots: For extended breaks longer than two weeks, payment is required to reserve your regular lesson slot during the absence.
  • Alternative Arrangements: Where appropriate, lessons may be converted to online format, subject to coach availability.

Packages affected by public holidays or studio closures will be extended by one week to account for the missed lesson.

Your coach will notify you of the adjustment before the start of the new package cycle.

In the event of your coach’s planned leave, you may choose one of the following options:

  • Skip lessons during the week of absence, with the package resuming as normal upon the coach’s return. You will continue to enjoy the discounted subscription rate, even if the total lessons for the month fall below the usual minimum.
  • Arrange lessons with another available coach during the same period.

If your coach cancels a lesson during an ongoing package:

  • You may attend a lesson with an alternative available coach during the coach’s absence.
  • Alternatively, a make-up lesson will be scheduled within the package validity period.
  • If the assigned coach reschedules more than once in a month (excluding sick leave supported by a valid medical certificate), an additional half-duration lesson will be provided within one month.

If your coach cancels a lesson at short notice (within 12 hours):

  • For sick leave or compassionate leave supported by a valid medical certificate, you may attend the lesson with an alternative available coach.
  • Alternatively, a make-up lesson with the original coach will be arranged within two weeks of the coach’s return.
  • If the cancellation occurs without a valid medical certificate, the coach will provide an additional full-duration lesson within one month.

If the student is running late for their lesson, the class will still end on time to avoid affecting subsequent classes. Your assistance in arriving on time and notifying us if you are running late is greatly appreciated.

If the coach is running late by more than 10 minutes, please inform the school admin. The lesson will still end on time, but students will receive a credit for the following package:

  • 10 minutes: $15
  • 10–20 minutes: $20
  • Beyond 20 minutes: Considered a no-show, and an additional make-up lesson will be scheduled.

All in-studio lessons within the existing package will be conducted as scheduled online via Zoom Cloud Meetings during periods of restriction or lockdown or at the student’s request. Lessons will not be postponed.

If it is impossible for the student to attend online lessons, a valid reason must be provided, and the school will take necessary measures. In this case, existing slots may be released, and make-up lessons should be arranged within two weeks of resuming in-studio lessons. Make-up lessons might not be available with the previous coach.

All materials used at The Vocal Studio Singapore are copyrighted. No part of the materials may be copied or reproduced in any form or by any means without prior permission from the principal.

Recording exercises or any part of a lesson is only permitted with the coach’s approval and must not include the entire lesson.

We reserve the right to take pictures or videos of students during classes, recording sessions, or performances to track progress and provide better feedback. Your permission will be sought prior to using your pictures or videos for publicity or promotional purposes.

All communication related to scheduling or lesson inquiries outside of class time must be conducted through the school and within operating hours. This protects the privacy of both coaches and students and ensures communication channels remain aligned.

Coaches are not required to provide their personal contact information or respond to inquiries outside of their lesson hours.

Discontinuing lessons is not possible once the package has started, and refunds will not be provided. Students may notify the school to cancel lessons for the following package cycle.

Students who are rude or threatening will not be re-enrolled past their current pre-paid lessons. The school reserves the right to terminate enrollment if students breach terms and conditions. Similarly, students have the right to terminate lessons if the coach or school exhibits threatening behavior or breaches terms and conditions.

If students cannot attend their regular lesson time for more than two weeks, their fixed time slot may not be held. To reserve the lesson slot, full payment for the following package must be made in advance.
