About

Wang Feng is a dedicated and accomplished music therapist with extensive experience working with a wide range of clients from various stages of the life span. While her internship experience focused on mental health at a psychiatric hospital in the US, her subsequent clinical experience in Singapore has been focused on serving individuals with developmental disorders, brain injury, Parkinson’s, dementia and at the end of life. She has also worked with at-risk youth, and youth with muscular dystrophy.

Wang Feng’s music therapy practice is informed by an eclectic theoretical orientation. Her undergraduate training was behavioural, while her graduate training supplemented humanistic, psychodynamic, biomedical, and complexity science (systems theory) perspectives. In recent years, she is beginning to explore the world of sound healing. Her intention is to use her skillset to meet the needs of the whole person, while emphasising functional goals in therapy.
