About

Not one to be resting on her laurels, Fathin Amira, a songwriter, multilingual singer, recording artiste and aspiring superstar, has been constantly driven to pit herself against the best since her first debut public performance at age 5. Throughout her elementary and high school years, she was trained under her school’s choir group. Graduating from School of Music & The Arts (SOMA SG) Diploma in Songwriting & Music Production, she learnt another skill of song composition and studio work. Fathin’s music style is heavily influenced by Pop R&B and Soul music. She also has released 3 Pop Originals (Sebenarnya, Mungkin Ini Cinta & Sujud) over the past few years.

Experience

Fathin has competed in several competitions – Singapore Idol S3, The Final 1 SG, Asia’s Got Talent S1, I Love OPM (ABS-CBN) and performed for numerous corporate events. She is also a wedding vocalist for Orkes Budi for 10 years, along side with her father Mr Zubir, the music director of the band. Through the years of performing, she was influenced by Traditional Pop Asli, Keroncong music and other genres as well (Pop Jazz, Ballad, Funk, Swing, Bossa). Her biggest achievement was the remake of the National Anthem “Majulah Singapura” in the year 2020.

Approach

As a coach, she strives to bring the best out of her students, and polish their singing abilities. She also emphasizes on the emotional aspect of vocal singing, to create different interpretations. Singing is an antidote for her, and she hopes to heal people through singing.
